A master weaver and seller of magic carpets. A centuries’ long expert of her craft who weaves delicate unicorn hair into exquisite flying rugs.

I initially came up with the idea when I stumbled upon the creation of authentic Persian rugs on Youtube. All I knew is I wanted a grandma where you can see the years of experience taking a toll on her bodily health, much like my oma who had worked for decades as a seamstress. I started the process by exploring different types of outfits that resembled a rug and eventually landed on a wrap that resembles a rug around the head. I added some of the finishing touches by combining Persian and Bolivian motifs and customs, making the design otherworldly through the fusion of different cultures.
