Wife of an earth genasi samurai, Maji is a bookish, aloof, tiefling sorcerer with a creative side. She travels the world with her partner in search for events and curiosities in hopes of learning to control her wild magic urges.

When I create a new character in an RPG, I think of someone that shares my physical and mental attributes so I can test the waters. I eventually decided to become a wild magic sorcerer, since I thought it would be a great way to externalize my autism with an ability known in the Dungeons and Dragons universe. Sometimes I feel my reactions to new experiences can be a roll of the dice, no matter how positive or negative it is to the situation at hand. With this in mind, I merged some of her characteristics with an octopus, which are known for their unusual anatomy and intelligence. After all, the “arms” made it fun to play with her in motion. I also combined traditional fantasy clothing with athleisure and other parts of my wardrobe to give her a fresh look.
